2022 - Happy New Year

The new year started with me shipping a painting to a buyer, so I was very excited about that. It seems that the Remains of the Day series is interesting to a number of people and so I plan to continue it. I wonder if it is just the animals, or if other subjects could be interesting in the same style, such as my Frida works. So far, they have been mixed media/collage. Is there an opportunity in combining the two. There are certain aspects of a silhouette of Frida that are quite distinct and could lend themselves to the style. Now I just need to find more canvases to turn into works. Maybe some of my bears could be foundations...only time will tell. It is a new year and I am motivated to paint. Let's go!
